COMICS CAN BE AWESOME (1 November 2021)

Like I mentioned last week, Gotham Calling is going on a break, which means that I won’t be writing longer posts for a bit. However, I will try to keep these brief weekly reminders that comics can be awesome, spotlighting an incredible sequence every Monday and letting it speak for itself… As usual, most of them will feature some sort of over-the-top violence, which is something that comics excel at, although not all artists can render it with the expressionistic power of Frank Espinosa:
